New Item in The Shop & a Snowy Horror!

Finally, I have a new item in my LolliShop! I've had my kids and my grand baby staying with me for a while and just haven't had the time or the focus to create, but I had today off and decided to get something made. This is one of my favorite pin cushions to date! I'm using many of my favorite materials here. Pink vintage linen, ticking stripes and rose corded trim. Up for sale right now in my Lollishop!

On another note.....

If you keep up with the national weather, you know that Denver is socked in with a spring snow storm. We really need this moisture, but as per usual in Colorado, March is notorious for heavy storms. We got so much snow that the DC closed down for the day and I didn't have to go into work. I am happy about that! It gave me some time to blog, sew and do a few other things that needed attending to. Mason is stuck over at his other grandma's because the roads are too bad, but hopefully tomorrow things will clear up enough to make them passable.

I am also happy to say that the kids found an apartment and will be moving out of here on the first. I have enjoyed having Mason here so much, but things are cramped and it's beginning to take its tole. Part of it is the fact that I'm a clean freak and the kids aren't quite as tidy as I'd like. I know that's somewhat superficial, but I am just a person who likes things neat and tidy. It calms me and disorganization makes me nuts. I know that they will be happier in their own place as well. They've become wealthy off of my two cents. ::chuckle::

We finally sold our dump truck! YAY! Jim bought himself a new computer and gave me back my laptop. YAY AGAIN! He's also looking for a new pickup for himself. He's been needing one for a long time. A Toyota is what he wants, so I'm asking the Lord to guide us in the right direction there. I depend on Him for even the smallest things in life.

Not much else to report right now, except to say that I'm going to try and get some more new things made up for my shop and my graphic collection should be ready real soon as well.

Cheers!
