Let's Lighten it Up

I realized earlier today that most of the posts I've made since I started blogging again sound like a lot of complaining.  I am going through some deep waters right now, but I should know better than to marinade in it.  I just need to accept what's going on and trust that the Lord will take care of it.   I keep saying that, but haven't been able to really let go.

So, I'm going to post about happier things today!  Like these candlesticks that I recently got from Kirklands before I got hurt.  On sale for $29.00!  Aren't they divine?

I had been wanting something like these for a while to put on the shelf by the front door.  I love everything about them!

Christmas is just around the corner, and although I won't be able to do a lot this year,  I was thinking of making some more ornaments like this one before I have my shoulder surgery.

I took an old, ugly colored glass ball and spray painted it Tiffany blue and then covered it in German glass glitter.  I put a few paper posies, some organza ribbon and pink birdie on top and I think it's so pretty!

I tried to make a box for it using an SVG cut file, but I need to adjust the size.  The ornament wasn't supposed to be sticking out the top, but I actually kinda like it that way!

I have quite a few of the little birds in my stash.  There are some blue ones and yellow ones too.

And my newest hobby....card making!  This is a card I made for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday.

I love my Silhouette Cameo!  I've had so much fun with this machine and I'm still learning all the time.  The things you can do with this are amazing!

I made one of these for my front door out of vinyl.  I saw this on Pinterest and instantly wanted it, so I made one!

So, I am really going to try and immerse myself in some creative therapy and stop worrying about all this other stuff so much because.......
