It Was a Good Day

The wait is almost over.  I don't have the check yet, but the Admission of Liability on my claim came in today, so it shouldn't be far behind.

Much to my shock, my bi-weekly payments from work comp will be as much as I was bringing home when I worked,  and that's because they don't tax work comp benefits.  You get 66% of your gross pay.

I can't tell you the relief I feel.  We will have Christmas, and life will go on.  I knew that it would, but it's hard to really feel it when you're in the throws of uncertainty.  I feel bad when I struggle to trust the Lord, but He knows my heart.

I went to see my primary doctor today and she decided that since I have to wait another month-ish before I can have my shoulder surgery, that I should start some simple physical therapy twice a week.  I am all for that.  One, it gets me out of the house a couple times a week and two, I don't want my arm to get any weaker than it already is.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day!
